Alright yall, so as I was formulating my January Wish List I realized a theme in the items I was selecting. You see over the month as I comb the internets for my favorite things I just save them in a file and pull out the ones that I’m still crushing on majorly at the time I put this list together.
Well, this morning as I started saving my photos to use in this post I noticed that all of the items have to do with rainy day attire, or is the complete opposite, bathing suits. Go figure that it hasn’t stopped raining in two days, and Australia Day is Monday, therefore, beach day!! They looked a bit silly all intertwined like that, so I’m breaking it down. Here’s what I am wishing for to get me through these rainy days…
There are a few things that scream rainy day fashion to me: a really good paid of jeans, rain boots, and a comfortable tee. You can dress all of these up with a rain coat or umbrella depending on how crazy the weather is. I really love this reversible raincoat for weeks forecasting lots of rainy days because it means I can accessorize the same jacket in multiple ways. If raincoats aren’t your thing, or you need extra protection, check out this umbrella from Target. The dome shape makes it resistant to flipping inside out during windy storms.
If you’re lucky enough to have the day off work during a storm, like I have this week then curling up with a book (my favorite is Little Women), a cup of tea, and a freshly baked Cinnamon Apple Muffin can be just what you need to have a beautiful day inside despite the stormy weather outside.
