I landed safely in Australia on Saturday, and am back into my normal blogging mode. So much to write about, and now, lots of time to do it!
Many of you showed interest in my Golden Tote preview for February, and my surprise tote reveal will come in a post soon… after I unpack all these suitcases and find those surprises.
Golden Tote is an online boutique that hosts two designer clothing sales on the first Monday of the month. A $49 sale which includes 2-3 items valued at $200, or a $149 sale that includes 6-7 items valued at up to $600. You, the shopper, selects an item or two of your choice, and fill out a style profile. A couple weeks later a tote full of surprise clothes, handpicked just for you by the Golden Tote girls, in addition to your selection(s) arrives at your door. You can also shop in their online boutique for individual items. None of the surprise items you have been sent will be from the boutique; however, you may find a sneak peek or two of their surprises on their facebook page or instagram.
I have ordered three totes from Golden Tote and have yet to be disappointed! If you happen to not like what is in your tote you can return the whole tote, but if you don’t like one item you can swap or sell in their online Facebook group with other Golden Tote shoppers.
I haven’t decided if I will be purchasing a tote this month, but they ship to Australia, so that helps make the decision a bit easier.
The sale starts tomorrow (9am Pacific Time, 12pm Eastern Time, or 4am Sydney Time.) Here are some of the items that have caught my attention. Will you be purchasing a tote this month?
These items below are from the brand Porridge, a high-end clothing and lifestyle brand sold at Anthropologie and other boutique stores. The Elephant Dress will be available in the $149 totes, and the Duck Shirt is a surprise item for the first 1,000 orders.
I did not wake up at the 4am Australia start time for this tote, and our internet decided not to work in the house this morning, so by 10am I had missed the dress I really wanted in the sale (the maxi.) They do restock sometimes, and if they restock the maxi this month there is a pretty good chance I’ll be purchasing.
