Happy Friday Favorites #59.
I am going to keep this one short and sweet as my visa application to stay in Australia has been consuming my life (hence a lack of posts) and it’s due by Tuesday, or else so long Aussies, my job, and Ben. Eek!
Oh and if my week wasn’t stressed enough, we heard back from the neighbor.. all I can say is we are dealing with a true b**** here.
Ben went over on Wednesday night to make amends and put this battle to rest, she wasn’t there, but her husband was who told Ben that she had just yelled at him and left in a huff to yell at some poor nurses taking care of her aunt. I don’t think we’ll be winning this woman’s heart over anytime soon.
Time for those favorites!!…
Favorite Website: Yummly
I love learning new things and this week it’s Yummly!
On the weekend I added more social sharing options to my blog including a yummly pin to snag all my recipies. What is Yummly you’re asking? It’s similar to pinterest but it’s all food. You can create boards called collections, and easily save recipes to them. When you’re ready to cook simply go to the recipe you want and all the ingredients are listed for you, and the recipe redirects back to bloggers website.
Favorite Daydream: Bali
This week, for about an hour we had flights booked to Bali for a week’s long vacation in October. The flights were too good to be true and couldn’t get confirmed by the airline company. We’ve decided not to go this year, but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been looking into all the $30 massages I can take advantage of when we do take that vacation.
Favorite Bouquet: Peachy Pinks
And while we are talking about vacations… we are taking one to America next summer for my brother’s wedding. I’m already excited about it, and about my bridesmaid duties!!
I pinned this bouquet to her secret wedding pinterest board, but it’s so beautiful I had to share.
Favorite Blogger: Trisha from Go Eat Your Beets
Last month I won an Instagram contest that allowed me a 1-hour skype session with Trisha to pick her brain on all things food blogger. Trisha was an absolute doll (and her photos are gorgeous!!)
If you want some great tips from Trisha check out her e-book Eat Pretty Things, it’s full of great tips and videos. I love mine so much I printed it out and keep a copy next to me when I am shooting. Yes, I am a dork who prints e-books.
What are yall up to this weekend?
Should be back to my normal yummy recipe and food filled week next week, after this crazy visa is done!
