I live in comfortable clothing all
season year long. Below are some of my favorite cozy fall styles that will carry you right on through to winter. Be sure to check out the major sales going on this week under the post.
Hat ($28.00): I’ve always been a pom beanie fan, and the stitching on this one is too adorable to pass up.
Dress ($25.90): Long dresses like this are perfect for chilly days with long pea coats, and are also great addition to a work wardrobe.
Tee ($19.95): Ten years ago (yes 10), I bought a Gap Body long sleeve tee… to this day it is still in tact, and my absolute favorite long sleeve shirt. It is a bit thin so it’s great to wear under a heavier sweater or coat for really chilly days. But this is without a doubt the most comfortable thing in my closet!
Vest ($27.00): Vests are my go to in the fall for everything from running errands to sightseeing. A puffer vest will keep you warm while running around without giving you that “I’m totally over heated” feeling.
Leggings ($39.95): I love leggings with a double purpose. I own two pairs of AE Performance Leggings (originally purchased for working out/yoga) but I just love how comfortable they are, I practically live in them during the winter!
Shoes ($39.00): I never owned UGG boots before moving to Australia, and since purchasing them last fall I have learned Aussies rarely wear them out of the house. Take note fellow Americans. If you ever feel desperate to wear those UGGs outside of the house try a pair of suede mocks instead.
Pea Coat (40.00): I love the charcoal color of this pea coat, and it’s made from a wool blend which keeps the cost low, but will keep you warm all winter long. Pair with slacks for work, or jeans and booties for date night. You really can’t go wrong with a pea coat.. and this one comes in several colors!
Scarf ($10.90): I can’t deny it, I love a good chunky scarf (see I wrote a post about them here)! I tend to stick with neutral colors for thick accessories like this, and you really can’t beat the price on this knit infinity loop scarf.
Boot Cuffs ($12.99): I absolutely love boot cuffs to add a pop of color to an outfit… or to serve as their actual purpose to keep the snow out of your boots.
Sweater ($22.80): This is the time of year I without fail start dreaming of cable knit blankets. Instead of walking out of the house in a blanket (because that would look ridiculous) try a cable knit sweater. You can dress it down with leggings and boots, or up with a jewel tone skirt, tights, and sparkly jewelry.
In addition to all of this cozy fall fashion under $50, there are some major sales going on in the fashion world some for today, so if you’ve had your eye on a potential addition to your wardrobe, now is the time to snatch it up!
